Who, What and Why
Who is the Boss and chief Bookkeeper

Tania is the owner and operator of Spears bookkeeping. Her 12 years of experience includes working as a bookkeeper and administrator for a church, a Government department, a store and a Private School.

Tania also has a variety of professional training and valuable life experience to invest in her business services.

Yet most importantly, Tania loves working for others and providing the bookkeeping services. Tania is great at her tasks and will do what is necessary to ensure that your business is organized so that we help you stay on target.

Along with Tania are a team of account managers who work with Tania to ensure that the daily tasks done on time.


Bookkeeping and Accounting are the same tasks. The difference is in the "Accountability required".

A bookkeeper completes all of the daily accounting tasks, monthly reports, quarterly GST reports, annual statements and a trained Bookkeeper also completes T2 Corporate Tax returns and T1 Personal Tax returns.

An accountant is required to provide audited annual statements which would be reported to the Board of Directors and the shareholders. If you are in this situation, then we have an accountant that we are partnered with that can serve you.
